BOOK SPINE POETRY CONTEST!!

From Monday, Sept 21st- Monday, Oct. 26th I am running a BOOK SPINE POETRY CONTEST to celebrate SASKATCHEWAN LIBRARY WEEK (Oct 18-24). The theme is “DARE TO KNOW”. WHAT IS BOOK SPINE POETRY? Book Spine Poetry is a free verse poem composed by: using the titles written on the spines of physical books and stacking the books on top on one another There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, ($20, $30, $50 gift cards for Chapters). The Page Turners and I will decide the winners. In addition, the top poems will be entered into the SAME BIG contest being put on by the Sask Library Association.
